Mark and I just made our reservations for the 14th at the same little restaurant that we went to last year. It’s not usually packed, so (at least for now) we can still claim it as our own. We don’t do gifts, but the night is a great excuse to go out for a romantic evening and celebrate each other…
Overblown expectations and commercialism be damned — I like this holiday.
How about you? Have you started making your plans for Valentines Day yet?
(even if your plans include throwing an ‘I hate Valentines Day’ party?)
The art of the love letter (and tons more holiday goodness) at Terrain.
Heart shaped tags from Olive Manna.
A pretty coral dress from J. Crew.

I think it’s great to go out on Valentine’s! There’s a lot of haters about this holiday but I think it’s fun. And love that coral dress – that’s one of my favorite colors!
Mine too!!
How cute is that pie????!!!
V-Day is four days before our anniversary, so we don’t really celebrate anymore. We just make a special meal at home and go out later!
Aww I love that though… it’s like a whole week of romance.
Loving all these goodies! One of the most memorable of our early dates was a Valentine’s Day surprise, so I always love celebrating!
I was just at Terrain this past weekend!! Such a lovely place!!
A pie crust made of hearts?! Adorable!
